The Fannin County Board of Commissioners has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Probation Technician.
The purpose of this position is to perform technical duties in support of the management of probationer cases.
Essential Functions:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) to (2) years of office administration or responsible administrative experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.
• Assist in the entry of daily probationer reports.
• Maintain probationer files and records; logs community service hours, etc.
• Monitors probationer files to ensure completion of court mandated requirements.
• Closes completed cases.
• Conducts drug screens.
• Answers phones and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; takes messages and makes appointments; refers to appropriate personnel.
Valid Georgia driver’s license required.
Starting rate of pay for this position is $15.00- $18.24 per hour.
