The first step in renewing your Short-Term Rental Certificate for the 2025-2026 year is to provide us with an up-to-date Cabin Info Worksheet. You will find this form attached as both a PDF and a Word Document. You can complete in either format and RETURN to this email: fcboc@fannincountyga.org. with the completed document. Please put in the subject email: Cabin Info Worksheet and your account number.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Fannin County Board of Commissioners will consider revisions to the “Ordinance of Fannin County, a Political Subdivision of the State of Georgia as to “Short Term Vacation Rental Ordinance” and hear public comments as to the same at a public meeting held for such purposes on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 and again on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025.
The meetings will occur at the Fannin County Courthouse, 400 W. Main Street, Blue Ridge, Georgia, third floor, Jury Assembly Room at 5:00 p.m.
It is anticipated that a final vote on the ordinance will occur on August 26th, 2025 at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Fannin County Board of Commissioners.
A copy of the proposed ordinance will be posted at the Fannin County website at

The same will incorporate the existing noise ordinance and will include a light ordinance to provide for “dark hours”.
